Sign ordinance

April 12, 2007

The City of Eudora enforced a sign code ordinance in January that states signs may not be placed in any city right of way, including real estate, political, snipe signs and community interest signs.

No signs, except a city sign, may be attached to city properties including electric utility poles, fences, trees or any other city structure except by agencies of federal, state and local government.

All signs, unless specifically exempted, must have a sign permit before installation.

Prohibited signs may be removed by the City of Eudora at any time.

For more information about the city sign code, call 542-3124.
