District issues all-clear on bomb threat
Eudora USD 491 Superintendent Marty Kobza issued an all-clear regarding a possible bomb threat earlier Thursday morning.
According to a statement released by the district office, district officials received word from the Lawrence Police Department that no credible threat had been found in any of the area schools.
"Thank you for your patience today as we have made every effort to balance the well-being of our students with the preservation of their normal routine," Kobza said as part of a taped message sent by the district's phone broadcast system.
All district activities scheduled for Thursday and Friday will go on as planned. School will be in session Friday.
