Obituary: Lillian L. Speicher

Mass of Christian burial for Lillian L. Speicher, 89, Denver, was Tuesday, July 31, at the old Holy Family Catholic Church building in Eudora. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery in Eudora.

Mrs. Speicher died Sunday, July 22, 2007, in Keenesburg, Colo.

She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Chapman. She moved with her children to Denver in 1955 from Eudora.

Mrs. Speicher was involved in many church and school activities, including the Holy Family Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society and the Bereavement Committee in Denver.

She married Lorenz "Spike" Speicher on Sept. 13, 1941. He died in March 1953.

Survivors include a son, Butch Speicher; two daughters, Mary Cochran and Theresa Speicher; a sister, Mary Ann Neiswender; a brother, Jim Ferguson; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Bernard Speicher, and six of her siblings preceded her in death.
