Pinecrest News

August 2, 2007

Luncheon guests of Tillie Bichelmeyer Tuesday were Julia Polfer and Ellen Moll, Lenexa, Jan Kelly, Overland Park and Emma Jean Taylor and Valerie Richardson. The afternoon was spent playing pinochle.

  • Felicia Brown, Lawrence, visited her mother, Alta Vorhies, Monday morning and took her to the grocery store.

Elva Jordan was in the hospital for the few days and is now in the Eudora Nursing Center. She is recovering from a blood clot in her leg.

  • Clarice Morriss rode on the float in the CPA Picnic parade Saturday evening honoring the organizations in Eudora. She represented the Golden Age Club. Ellen Carnagie represented the Meals on Wheels and I represented the Minerva Rebekah Lodge.

  • My great-granddaughter Autumn Musick brought me dinner Sunday evening. Her father, Robert Musick, had been fishing and they all know I love fish.

  • My daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick took me to the CPA Picnic Saturday evening and it brought back memories of when I was a child. The rides back then were 10 cents and we took blankets and a picnic supper to eat with other relatives who came to enjoy the evening.
