Betty Ryan and Bud Neilson were dinner guests Saturday evening of her daughter Barbara Earnheart, Linwood.

Tillie Bichelmeyer received word of the death of her brother-in-law Ralph Mersmann, Ottawa. He died Thursday and the funeral is Tuesday.

Tillie Bichelmeyer, Emma Jean Taylor, Jan Kelley, Overland Park, Julia Polfer and Ellen Moll, Olathe, all went out for lunch Tuesday and then played pinochle at Tillie's in the afternoon.

Colleen Thompson, De Soto, visited her mother, Darlene Randel and grandmother Elva Jordan on Thursday.

Travis McCormick and his son, Jace, visited their grandmother Bertie Morriss Sunday afternoon.

Sue Cusimano returned to her home in Winthrop Harbor, Ill., after spending a week with her mother, Alta Vorhies.

Felicia Brown, Lawrence, visited her mother, Alta Vorhies, Monday morning.

Pinecrest Apartments is going to start a crocheting class in September. If anyone has yarn they would like to donate, our manager would be glad to pick it up. Call Carol Scott at the Pinecrest Apartments office at 542-1020.

My grandson Donald Musick, Linwood, visited me Thursday evening.

We gathered Saturday at the home of my sister Edna Holmes for dinner and visiting. Those enjoying the day were Jack and Helen Hines, Erie, Mary Ann Torrance, Arlington, Penn., Carol Belles, Millard and Leola Murray and Lois Mersman, all of Lawrence, and my daughter Sharon Musick, Linwood.
