Thomas L. Wingebach, 47, Eudora, remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Kansas University Medical Center. Wingebach was flown by air ambulance Nov. 20 to the medical center after being ejected from his vehicle in a single-car accident on Kansas Highway 10, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. about 1.5 miles east of Lawrence near Noria Road.
Wingebach was driving a 1989 Toyota 4Runner eastbound when he drove onto the shoulder and lost control. The vehicle rolled across both lanes of eastbound K-10 and came to a rest in the median.
