Pinecrest News for Dec. 27
Twenty-four Pinecrest residents and friends enjoyed the December birthday party and potluck dinner Wednesday evening. Darlene Randel and Phil Cudney were the birthday people that enjoyed the evening. Manager Carol Scott was presented a gift from those present.
¢ Our New Year's Eve party will be from 6 p.m. to midnight in Pinecrest II clubroom. Everyone is asked to bring snack food.
¢ Yvonne Jordan, Darlene Randel and Freda Schwindt had coffee with Elva Jordan Monday morning.
¢ Dean and Cindy Hinkle, Bonner Springs, took Tillie Bichelmeyer to church Saturday evening and on Sunday thy took her to Tom and Lynette Mersman's in Paola to the Mersman family Christmas dinner and gift exchange.
¢ Tillie Bichelmeyer and Emma Jan Taylor drove to the home of Julia Polfer in Leawood. Jan Kelley, Overland Park, and Ellen Moll, Lenexa, joined them for lunch and an afternoon of pinochle.
¢ Clarice Morriss and Alta Vorhies went shopping in Lawrence Friday afternoon.
¢ Bob and Dora Neilson, Shawnee, took his father, Bud Neilson, and Betty Ryan out Saturday for an early Christmas dinner.
¢ Rocky and Sue Tusimano and Gina, Winthrop, Ill., arrived Saturday to spend Christmas with her mother, Alta Vorhies.
¢ My daughter Sharon Musick and I attended the funeral Friday morning in Lawrence for our cousin Thresea Puckett Whitiker.
¢ I enjoyed a Christmas brunch Saturday morning at the home of my daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick in Linwood. Other guests were Robert and Anita Musick, Tiffany Musick, Jeremiah and Salim Smith, Dennis Musick, Autumn Musick and children Aftyn, Trinity and Duncun, and Donald Musick.
