The eighth-grade varsity team spotted Baldwin too big of a lead Monday to climb back into things. A big halftime deficit led to the 40-28 loss for the Cardinals.
Coach Kevin Wade said amazing effort on both ends of the court helped the Cardinals climb back in the game in the second half, but timely shooting and big rebounds by Baldwin kept Eudora at bay.
The Cardinals conclude the home portion of the season with a tilt versus Central Heights Thursday. They then hit the road to Ottawa for tournament play opening up with Wellsville Saturday morning at Ottawa Middle School.
