Friday is the last day to order daffodils offered by the American Cancer Society.
Eudora has sponsored the Relay For Life in the past, but will not have a Relay in 2007. Several community members joined Baldwin City in its Relay in 2006.
In an effort to continue the support the community has shown in raising funds for the goals of ACS, residents Marilyn Laws Porter and her daughter Julie Stewart have volunteered to keep Eudora involved by bringing Daffodil Days to Eudora.
For more than 30 years, the ACS has marked the beginning of spring with Daffodil Days, its long-standing fund-raising program to help raise money to support the fight against cancer and share hope for all people facing the disease.
For a donation of $25, supporters will receive a Boyd's Bear and 10 daffodil stalks.
For a donation of $15, each participant will receive 10 daffodil stalks in a vase.
For a donation of $10, each participant will receive 10 daffodil stalks to take home and watch blossom at home.
To place an advance order before Feb. 23, call Porter at 542-3406 or Stewart at 542-3379. Delivery day will be March 6 or 7 at C&S Market, 1402 Church St.
