Home show set

February 22, 2007

The Lawrence Home Builders Association will have its seventh annual Home Show from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at 5200 Clinton Parkway in Lawrence.

More than 60 exhibits will be available. Eudora builders included in the Home Show are Brett Fritzel and Dee Perry.

Companies from the surrounding areas will be on hand to show visitors the latest in construction, material and design trends. Visitors will view displays that relate to most aspects of the building and remodeling process.

Lawrence Home Builders Association Executive Director Bobbie Flory said the Home Show is a fun event for everyone.

"If people are thinking about updating a room, a remodeling project, building a new home, or are just curious about what the latest home features are, they will enjoy attending the Home Show.

"In addition to product and service displays, the Home Show also will conduct several seminars on topics including decorating trends, dust free floor refinishing, shade gardening and Chinese gardens."

Flory said entertainment for children will be available Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are sold at the door. Children are free. The cost is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors.
