All-metro teams
Several Eudora High School athletes were named to all-metro sports teams and were recognized during halftime of the varsity boys basketball game Jan. 9 against Central Heights.
Athletes who made the all-metro teams were Brittney Graff, cross country, first team; Joey Chino, cross country, honorable mention; Erin Kracl, volleyball, second team; Nikki Snider, volleyball, honorable mention; and Richard Wilks, football, honorable mention.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
