EHS notes
A meeting for any students interested in ordering a class ring will take place at 2:15 p.m. Feb. 5 in the commons area at the Eudora High School.
Orders will be taken Feb. 8.
Site tours for sophomores interested in enrolling in any of Eudora High School's five career and technical education programs at the Eudora-De Soto Technical Education Center sites next year will be Jan. 30.
The classes offered are auto collision, culinary arts, health careers, graphic communications or animal science.
Signed permission forms are due back to the main office by Monday in order for students to participate in the tour.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
