Obituary: Linda M. Twigg
A celebration of life for Linda Marie Twigg, 65, Woodland, Calif., will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Elks Lodge. She was cremated.
Mrs. Twigg died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, in Amarillo, Texas, after a sudden illness.
She was born June 7, 1942, in Hutchinson, the daughter of A.E. "Frenchy" and Elsie Charbonneau. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1960.
Mrs. Twigg and her husband moved to Lawrence, where they started an auto repair and rental business. They moved to Woodland in 1983, and worked to start another business.
She married Harold Twigg on Sept. 9, 1960. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Harold Twigg and Jeff Twigg; five sisters, Kathryn Hershel, Love Park, Ill., Pamela Williams, Kansas City, Mo., Alice Randel, Baldwin City, Loretta Gantenbein, Eudora, and Lorena Kraft, Overland Park; two brothers, Wilbur Charbonneau, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Leroy Charbonneau, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A daughter, Dianna Twigg; a son, Rex Twigg; a brother, Larry Charbonneau; and a sister, Eleanor Grammer, preceded her in death.
