UMW hosting blood drive
The Eudora United Methodist Women will have a community blood drive from 2 to 5:30 p.m. July 12 at Nottingham Elementary School, 1428 Elm St.
All donations through the Community Blood Center benefit local hospital patients. The center must collect at least 580 pints of blood every day to meet the needs in the area.
Donors are asked to eat well and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating. In addition, they are asked to bring identification like a Community Blood Center donor card or driver's license.
Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds, and be in good health.
