Car show
Durkin's Hardware will have its second annual Show and Shine Car Show from noon to 4 p.m. April 1 at the store, 218 W. 20th St., Eudora.
The Kansas City Pontiac Club will participate again this year.
Drawings for prizes and live entertainment will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.
Anyone is encouraged to bring a car to show.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
