Tillie Bichelmeyer returned to her home Tuesday from Lawrence Memorial Hospital after her recent knee surgery.


  • Jane Wetzel, Westwood, visited her aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer on her birthday Friday.

  • Joe and Marty Bichelmeyer, Shawnee, brought supper and a birthday cake to help their aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer celebrate her birthday and watch the ball game Friday evening.

  • Jack and Arlene Udelhofen, Ottawa, visited their aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer Sunday morning.

  • Sherri Thompson visited Elva Jordan and Darlene Randel Monday morning.

  • Darlene Randel, Elva Jordan, Freda Schwindt and Melvin Miller, Pomona, went out for lunch after church Sunday.

  • Melvin Miller, Pomona, took Elva Jordan and Darlene Randel out for dinner Saturday evening.

  • Felecia Brown and Machaela Mullins, Lawrence, visited their mother and grandmother Alta Vorhies Monday morning.

  • Tammy Lathrom was taken to the Tonganoxie Nursing Center Saturday after her knee surgery Tuesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

  • I attended the birthday party for my great-great-grandson Duncan Lancon for his second birthday at the home of his grandparents Robert and Anita Musick.

Those enjoying the afternoon were his mother, Autumn Musick, and his sisters Aftyn and Trinity, LaVerne and Sharon Musick and Salim Luke Smith, Linwood, Steven Carlyle and Jimmy Winkle, Lawrence, Betty Forsyth, Penny Mason and her two children, Kevin and Karen Carlyle and Scott, Kurtis and Melissa Carlyle and son Kadon, James Conyers and Dustin and Emily Carlyle, 29 Palms, Calif.


  • My sister and brother-in-law Carol and Howard Belles, Lawrence, visited me Thursday evening.

  • My daughter Sharon Musick, Linwood, and I attended the St. Patrick's Day parade in Lawrence Saturday morning.

  • Marilyn and Melvin Morriss Jr. visited his mother, Clarice Morriss, Sunday evening.
