Nottingham Elementary School will have its kindergarten round-up April 26 and 27, by appointment only, at the school, 1428 Elm St.
A parent meeting to schedule appointment times and gather information will be at 7 p.m. April 23 at Nottingham.
The school district has created a brochure to educate parents on what their children should know before they start kindergarten. The information is divided into sections including pre-academics, social skills, adaptive skills, language skills and motor skills.
The brochures are available in the office at Nottingham Elementary School; at the district office, 1002 Elm St.; and at The Eudora News office, 1402-B Church St.
Prior to the round-up sessions, parents are asked to acquire a state certified birth certificate and gather health information including a Kansas Certificate of Immunization record and physical exam/personal health history. A dental examination is optional.
Children must have been born on or before Aug. 31, 2002 to enter kindergarten in fall 2007.
