Letter: Please return stolen items
On the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 15, I failed to secure my house against "intruder pilferers." Among small items missing are two pieces of jewelry of some value, unique and sentimental; and my dad's antique leather awl, which I used as an ice pick.
My question is how could a person of school age have these items in their possession without the parents questioning where they acquired them? I say school age because a person "who did not want to be involved" saw a person at my door that evening.
If anyone knows of a piece, one white gold, one Indian silver, please return them. No questions asked.
