Jack and Arlene Udelhofen, Ottawa, visited their aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer Sunday morning, and her niece Jane Wetzel of Westwood dropped by to visit Tuesday evening. Dean and Cindy Hinkle of Bonner Springs spent Friday with their aunt Tillie and Betty Ryan visited Sunday evening.
Bertie Morriss attended the third birthday party Saturday afternoon for her great-grandson Kurtis McCormick at the home of his parents, Kurtis and Misty McCormick.
On Sunday, Bertie visited her son Allen Morriss, who is in the intensive care unit at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
I drove my sister Edna Holmes to Lawrence on Saturday to celebrate our sister Leola Murray's birthday at the home of our sister and brother-in-law Carol and Howard Belles. Millard Murray was also a guest and enjoyed the cake and ice cream.
My daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick and their great-granddaughters Aftyn and Trinity Hankins took me to the Saturday afternoon wedding of Mickie Ann Jenks and Clifford Johns at St. Paul United Church of Christ, and the reception following at Steve's Place. It was an honor to attend because I babysat Mickie and her sister Kim when they were young.
Clarice Morriss visited me Friday morning and my great-granddaughter Tiffany Musick also spent some time with me.
