Cubmaster Bryan Chumbley, Cub Scout Pack 3064, presented the pack's charter for 2007 to the Eudora United Methodist Church during services Sunday. The Rev. Michael Tomson-DeGreeff received the charter on behalf of the church.

Pack 3064 will hold its May pack meeting at 7 p.m. May 22 at Nottingham Elementary School, 1428 Elm St.

  • Eudora Boy Scout Troop 64 attended the Pelathe District Spring Camporee April 20 to 22 at Camp Bromelsick west of Lawrence. The camporee had a high adventure theme with Scouts hiking in to their campsite and learning to camp as if they were at a national high adventure Scout base.

During a Saturday campfire, Scouts recently elected by their troop to the national Boy Scout honor camping society, Order of The Arrow, were recognized. Hawley Montgomery and Colin Forsberg of Troop 64 participated in the call-out. Alex Whitten, who was also elected by the troop recently, was not able to attend the camporee.

Scouts attending the camporee included Jonathan Morrison, Colin Forsberg, Andrew Briery, Eric Ahlen, Simon Elwell, Nathan Gentleman and Hawley Montgomery. They were accompanied by Scoutmaster Glenn Jackson, Assistant Scoutmasters Jim Morrison, Roy Lytle and Jerry Criqui and troop committee members Duane Gentleman and Greg Elwell.
