College notes

Tina Clark, Eudora, was named a Presidential Scholar during an honor's convocation April 25 at Kansas Wesleyan University. Clark has maintained a 3.9 grade point average for the past two years.

She also had a leading role in the school's all-student produced musical "Into the Woods" April 27 and 28.

The Musical Theatre Production class, of which Clark is a member, traveled to New York City May 14 to 18. While in New York, the group toured the Metropolitan Art Gallery and other galleries, visited the Statue of Liberty, Chinatown, and attended several productions including " Curtains" and "Les Miserables."

Clark graduated from Eudora High School in 2005.
