Recalled frozen pizzas
Totino's and Jeno's frozen pizzas have voluntarily recalled 5 million pizzas with pepperoni toppings because of possible contamination of the pepperoni with E. coli.

State and federal authorities investigating 21 cases of E. coli in 10 states found that nine of the 21 people reported eating Totino's or Jeno's pizza. Ten of the 21 individuals have been hospitalized.

The frozen pizzas were made in the company's Wellston, Ohio plant and distributed nationwide. Cases have been reported in 10 states including Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee and Minnesota.

General Mills, the parent company of Totino's and Jeno's, has asked consumers to throw the products away and contact Totino's or Jeno's for a replacement by clipping the UPC (bar code) symbol from each pizza box. UPCs should be sent, along with the consumer's name and address to:

Totino's/Jeno's
P.O. Box 200 -- Pizza

Minneapolis, MN 55440-0200

Call General Mills with any further questions at (800) 949-9055.
