Middle school wrestling
The Eudora Middle School Wrestling Cardinals were in action Thursday night against Ottawa and Louisburg. Jeffrey Moses, Andrew McLees, Gabe Cleveland, and Thaius Boyd all went undefeated. Lucas Becker, Caden Lynch, Josh Chronister, Darian Willis, Jarrod Kaup, T.J. Mick, Alex Whitten, Quinten Johnson, William Thorp, Chris Pyle, Vincent Alvarez, Grady Salzman, Nick Becker and Hunter Trefz compiled at least one win on the night.

The middle school Wrestlers had a great showing over the weekend at the Frontier League Tournament in Osawatomie. Lucas Becker and Caden Lynch, both finishing third in the advanced division, led the Cardinals. Chris Pyle and T.J. Mick placed first in the novice division, ending the day undefeated. "Everyone wrestled very well and continued to show improvement," coach Matt Self said.
The Cardinals will travel to Linwood Monday to compete.

As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
