Tillie Bichelmeyer was a dinner guest Thanksgiving Day of Dean and Cindy Hinkle, Bonner Springs. Other guests were Ron and Mary Beth Mersman, Scipio, Jack and Arlene Udelhofen, Ottawa, and Tom and Lanette Mersman and family, Paola.

Betty Ryan and Bud Nielson drove to Shawnee and were dinner guests Thanksgiving Day of Bob and Dora Nielson, Bud's daughter and grandson Patty and Travis Hucklebee, Arvada, Colo., were also guests.

Elva Jordan and Darlene Randel hosted a Thanksgiving dinner in Pinecrest II clubroom on Thanksgiving Day. Guests were Rebekah and Sean Cummings, Stillwell, Clayton and Kayle Cummings, Wellsville, Melvin Miller, Pomona, Ron and Colleen Thompson, and J.T. Thompson, all of De Soto, Shirley Cummings, Olathe, Steve Cummings, Stillwell, Shirlene Yoke and daughters Rachel, Montana and Bobbie, all of Olathe, Kasey Singleton, Overland Park, Stacy McAtee, Kansas City, Claude Madison, Spring Hill, and Yvonne Thompson, Charlie and Cherri Thompson and Chloe and Evan, all of Eudora.

Freda Schwindt spent Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day at her daughter and son-in-law's, Robert and Debbie Lindley, Cleveland, Mo. Also in attendance were her granddaughter, Kristen, and her friend Drew, Cleveland, Mo.

Glenda and Sierra Waylord, Kansas City, picked up Freda Schwindt on Friday and they drove to Lawrence to attend a house-warming party for Judy Stuart.

Bertie Morriss attended the first birthday celebration for her great-grandson Killian McCormick at the home of his grandparents Price and Merlene McCormick.


  • Bertie Morriss had dinner at the home of her granddaughter and grandson Elizabeth and Daniel Alvarez and family in Lawrence on Thanksgiving Day. In the evening she was a guest of her daughter and son-in-law Merlene and Price McCormick and their family.

    Alta Vorhies spent Thanksgiving Day at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Janet Vorhies, in Lawrence, with all of her children and grandchildren enjoying the day.

    Felicia Brown, Lawrence, spent Monday morning with her mother, Alta Vorhies.

    I was a dinner guest of my daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick, Linwood, on Thanksgiving Day. Other guests were Wilson and Pam Snively, Maryville, Mo., Autumn Musick and children Aftyn, Trinity and Duncun, Tiffany Musick and son Salim, and Donald Musick. In the evening Sharon and Pam came in and put up my tree and got my decorations out, and LaVerne did the outside decorating for me.
