The seventh-grade football team dropped its game Sept. 20 against Pioneer Ridge 18-0. The team from Gardner scored two touchdowns, two PATs and a safety.
Eudora traveled to Paola Sept. 25 and played to a scoreless first half. The Cards gave up eight points in the second half, losing 8-0.
Eudora suffered its fifth loss in as many tries at the hands of Ottawa Tuesday night, giving up eight points a half and scoring on the last play of the game, making the final 16-6.
The eighth-grade team gave up 30 first-half points and was shut out against the Pioneer Ridge Jaguars, losing 30-0.
The offense moved the ball, but failed to score.
The team gave up 32 first half points Sept. 25 at Paola. Each team scored second-half touchdowns, making the final 38-6 in favor of the Panthers.
The team made a notch in the win column against Ottawa Tuesday scoring a touchdown in each half and shutting out the Whirlwinds 12-0.
Coach Phil Katzenmeier said ball control and solid defensive play gave the Cardinals control of the game.
