Michelle Benschoter and Jimmy Flowers married Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn in Lawrence, with Joe Stiles officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Danny and Tina Stice, Lawrence, and Mike and Joyce Benschoter, Mesa, Ariz. The groom is the son of Jeff and Pam Flowers, Eudora.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Benschoter. Best man was Jeff Flowers. Bridesmaids were Ashley Smiley, Kasie Thomas, Christie Willis and Laura Schneider. Groomsmen were Robbie Johnson, Jamie Frost, Richard Neis and Dan Chrislip.
Ushers were Jacob Montney, Robert Westbrook, Branden Redding and John Greene. Flower girls were Ashley Flowers and Taja Brubaker. Ring bearers were Peyton Whitaker and Davin Kerr.
A reception followed at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn.
Michelle graduated from Dobson High School in Mesa, Ariz., in 2000. She received an associate's degree in liberal arts in 2006 from Johnson County Community College, where she is attending nursing school. She is employed by Children's Mercy Hospital.
Jimmy graduated from Eudora High School in 2001. He received auto body and collision repair certification at Kaw Area Technical School. He received a machinist certification from Johnson County Technical School. He is employed by Progress Vanguard in Lawrence.
