The seventh-grade football team recorded its first win of the season Oct. 9 defeating the Wheatridge Mustangs 26-14. Eudora took control of the game in the first half and never gave up the lead.
The team defeated Spring Hill Oct. 16 in the final game of the season.
Taking a first-half lead of 14-0, Eudora won with a 20-8 score, ending with a 2-4 record overall.
The eighth-grade team came up short in its game against Wheatridge 38-22.
Coach Phil Katzenmeier said the offense played well and the special teams scored on a kick return, but the defense gave up too many big plays for Eudora to take a lead.
The team dropped its final game of the season to the Spring Hill Mavericks 22-6.
Giving up 16 first-half points, the Cards managed to trade scores in the second half.
The team finished with a 1-6 record.
