Homecoming activities, parade next week

The EHS student council will be coordinating spirit week leading up to the game, which will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Laws Field against Wellsville. The homecoming dance will follow from 10 p.m. to midnight in the commons area at the high school. Admission is $3 per person.Homecoming activities at Eudora High School begin Monday.

Spirit days are next week. Monday is PJ Day; Tuesday, Hawaiian Day; Wednesday, Twin Day; Thursday, Nerd Day; and Friday, Cardinal Craze/Spirit Day.

The annual homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seventh and Main streets, next to Eudora City Hall, and will proceed south to 14th Street, turning right to Maple Street and then back south in front of the Eudora Nursing Center, heading south to 15th Street, then left to Elm Street to Laws Field. The community pep rally will begin after the parade and should end by around 6:45 p.m.

To finish out the week before the homecoming game, an assembly will take place at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 14 at the high school.
