Birth: Laura Addison Traudt
Brandon and Ila Jean Traudt, Eudora, announce the birth of a daughter, Laura Addison Traudt, on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Laura weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches long. She has an older brother, Blaine, 2.
Grandparents are Les and Betty Cornish, Grand Island, Neb., and Larry and Kathy Traudt, Lincoln, Neb.
Laura's great-grandparents are Ila Fae Sagesser, North Platte, Neb., and Leroy and Sally Traudt, Republican City, Neb.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
