Comunity’s input sought
The Eudora community is invited to give input on transportation issues as part of the Transportation 2030 Plan update for Douglas County during one of three upcoming meetings.
In Eudora, a concern may be how well Church Street serves to connect Eudora to Kansas Highway 10. A committee of volunteers and city, county, state and federal staff is working to plan for traffic volumes and flows in the future.
The public is invited to drop by any time at any one of three public open house meetings. The Eudora meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eudora City Hall, 4 East Seventh St., with a presentation at 7 p.m. The Lawrence meeting will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Union Pacific Depot, 402 N. Second St., Lawrence, with a presentation at 5 p.m. The Baldwin City meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Baldwin High School, 415 Eisenhower, Baldwin City.
