The 14U Xtreme Heat fastpitch softball team is holding open tryouts for any girl with a birthday 1995 or later who is looking to play at a competitive level. They are looking for girls with a desire to play softball in high school and beyond. The team strives to develop the girls' skill and attitude at a competitive level. It intends to play both fall and spring/summer tournaments. The team is looking for athletic girls and is willing to work around other sports and activities. The desire is to maintain a core group of girls from Eudora that intend to stay together and build a strong high school team. If players' desires are to play High School ball this is the team for them. Open tryouts will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, August 16 and at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 24 at the Eudora High School field.
