Suspect arrested in pipe-bombing
Prosecutors in Leavenworth County today filed a murder charge against a 23-year-old Lansing man in the shooting death of a pregnant woman.
Sadale Fox, who was charged with one count of first-degree murder, will appear Friday morning in Leavenworth County District Court. He remains in jail on $1.5 million bond.
Fox is accused of shooting Olivia Jackson, 20, in the head on Tuesday at a mobile home in Lansing that she was visiting.
Also today, officials arrested a 21-year-old Farley, Mo., man on charges of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with a pipe-bombing incident on Jan. 11 at a Leavenworth house. Jackson and her sister were at that house at the time, but escaped unharmed. Prosecutors said they expected to file charges against the Missouri man on Friday.
