Boy Scout Troop 64 of Eudora attended Camp Naish, near Bonner Springs, the week of June 22-28. Scouts enjoyed a week of hiking, swimming, archery and working on merit badges such as first aid, marksmanship, reptile study and leatherworking. They also enjoyed a family night on Wednesday.
Members of the troop completed 38 merit badges. Adult leaders spending the week were Glenn Jackson, Jerry Criqui and Damon Bradley. Other adults spending a night were Dan Sours and Jim Morrison.
Scouts attending were Joseph Walker, Jonathan Morrison, Nathan Gentleman, Alex Whitten, Andrew Briery, Devon Middleton, Simon Elwell, Matt Jones, Patrick Bradley, Tanner Brunton, Chance Hamm, Blake Jopp, Evhan Sours, Trenton Wilkins and Zachary Dudley.
Drew Davies from Troop 112 in Horton attended camp with Troop 64 this year
Troop 64 is chartered to the Eudora Lions Club and meets at 7 p.m. on Monday nights at the Eudora Community Learning Center, located at 10th and Main streets.
