Class of 1978 reunion

The Eudora High School class of 1978 will celebrate its 30th reunion with a social with refreshments at 5 p.m. Saturday at Coffee Talk in downtown Eudora. The class will then ride a float in the CPA parade before meeting once from 7 to 9 p.m. at Coffee Talk. The gathering will move at 9 p.m. to Cecil Monday's.
Teachers are welcome.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
