Kansas Wesleyan University student Kristina K. Clark, Eudora, was recognized for being Presidential Scholars during the University's annual Honors Convocation April 27.
President's Leadership Program Scholarships of $7,000 per year ($5,000 for non-residence hall students) are available for high school seniors with a GPA of 3.75 with a minimum ACT score of 25 or SAT score of 1140. These awards are renewable all four years with a maintained GPA of 3.30.
¢ Megan Ballock and Britney Graff were named to the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association All-Academic Team. To earn this distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative 3.50 grade-point average in two terms of attendance at the nominating institution, and earned All-MIAA honors in their sport over the past season.
Ballock is on the track and field team at Pittsburg State University and Graff is on both the cross country and track and field teams at Pittsburg State University.
