Caregiver Support Group

Douglas County Senior Services is starting a Caregiver Support Group in Eudora from 1 to 2:30 p.m. April 23 at the Eudora Community Center, 1630 Elm St. Subsequent meetings will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of every month.
One-on-one Caregiver Support also is available by appointment. Counseling sessions allow caregivers an opportunity to visit one-on-one with the DCSS staff for information and support.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
