Forensics team update

Members of the Eudora High School forensics team will travel Saturday to 4A State Speech Championships in Topeka.
Those competing are Brian Talbert, prose interpretation; Mai Nguyen and Rebecca Dreifuss, improvised duet acting; Rebecca Dreifuss, humorous solo acting; Kyle Swanson and Hawley Montgomery, improvised duet acting; and Katie Donner, prose interpretation.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
