Baseball awards

The Eudora High School baseball awards banquet took place Wednesday, May 21, in the commons area at the high school.

Eudora players named to the All-Frontier League first team were Matthew Abel, outfield, and Chad Krutz, third base; second team Brian White, pitcher; and honorable mention Morgan Abel, first base.

Matthew Abel was named to the Class 4A all-state first team and Chad Krutz was named to the all-state second team.

Team awards were given to the following: Evan Cleveland, Spark Plug Award; Morgan Abel, Outstanding Leader; Bryan Kindle, Most Inspirational; Dylan Rust, Stopper of the Year; Brian White, Pitcher of the Year; William Gadberry, Defensive Player of the Year; Chad Krutz, Offensive Player of the Year; and Matthew Abel, Most Valuable Player.

Players who earned letters were Matthew Abel, Kyle Swanson, Bryan Dudley, Craig Harper, Chad Krutz, Evan Cleveland, Derek Scrimsher, Brian White, Chase Brecheisen, Zach Bryant, Jackson Wiley, Drew Noble, Dylan Rust, Michael Bricker, William Gadberry, Tyler Beebe, Morgan Abel and Reece Long.

Head coach was Shaun Edmondson. Assistant coaches were Brad Huber, Paul Houle, John Maynard and Bryn Biancalana.
