Eudora High School girls basketball coach Ryan Luke and staff will hold a girls basketball camp June 9 through June 11 for first-through eighth-graders. Cost is $30 and $10 for additional family members. Registration forms are available at Eudora High School's main office, or by requesting a form by emailing Luke at ryanluke@eudoraschools.org.
First-and second-graders will be from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m., third and fourth from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., fifth and sixth from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and seventh and eighth from 10 to 11:45 a.m.
Camp directors are Luke and Miranda Joy, and the staff will consist of former and current players. Deadline for registration is June 5. Questions are directed to Luke at (913) 238-1763.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
