Megan Urban, Eudora, graduated from Creighton University on May 10. She earned a doctorate in pharmacy.
¢ Chalene Skinner, Eudora, graduated from Washburn University on May 17. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in nursing.
¢ Eudora students Jacob Cloud-Holloway, Kelsey Epperson and Allison Greenfield were named to Baker University's College of Arts and Sciences and School of Education undergraduate Dean's List for maintaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the spring 2008 semester.
¢ Desiree Marmon was named to the Dean's List at William Jewell College for the 2008 spring semester for earning at least a 3.5 grade point average while carrying 14 or more semester hours.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
