Thanksgiving community church service

The Eudora Ministerial Alliance will sponsor a Thanksgiving service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Southern Baptist Church, 11th and Main streets.
A special offering will be taken on behalf of the needy members of the community.
The Ministerial Alliance routinely assist’s Eudora’s needy citizens with money for utilities and other costs.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
