Eudora’s JV volleyball team lost to the Paola Panthers in two matches by scores of 15-25 and 22-25.
Eudora’s seventh grade volleyball squad put up a good fight against Pioneer Ridge but lost both games. The Cardinals lost the first game by scores of (25-24, 9-25, 12-25). The Cardinals were swept in the second contest, losing (14-25, 12-25).
The Eudora Middle School cross country team competed at the Ottawa Invitational this past week. Kelsey Balluch came in third with a time of 7:49 in the one mile run. Victoria Searigh finished right behind in fourth place at 7:52.
Eudora’s JV soccer team was defeated by Ottawa, 3-0, at home Tuesday night.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
