Ballock, Bricker named to all-league teams

Eudora junior Justin Ballock and senior Michael Bricker have been selected to the boys all-league basketball teams. Ballock was a first team selection, and Bricker was honorable mention.

Joining Ballock on the first team was Bubba Starling (Gardner-Edgerton), Adam Hasty (Ottawa), Jamel Townsend (De Soto) Kevin Barber (Ottawa).

Honorable Mention: Michael Bricker (Eudora), Travis Hayes (Paola), Nick Mauszycki (Gardner-Edgerton), Clad Kueffer, Mason Wedell (De Soto), Skylar Hawkins (Paola).

Epperson, Scott named all-league team

Eudora seniors Haley Epperson and Bailey Scott have been selected to the girls basketball all-league team. Epperson was a first-team selection, and Scott was a second team selection.

Joining Epperson on the all-league first team was Rachel Hanf (Paola), Taelor Karr (Paola), Cierra Washington (Gardner-Edgerton) and Kara McFarland (Ottawa).

Joining Bailey Scott on the second-team was Jordan Baldwin (Ottawa), Katelyn O'Hara (Louisburg), Abbey Frazier (Louisburg), Ashley Miller (Spring Hill).

JV baseball washed out

The Eudora junior varsity baseball team’s season opener against St. James was rained out Thursday. The game will not be rescheduled. The squad will play Thursday at Gardner.

JV softball sweeps McLouth

The Eudora junior varsity softball team opened its season against McLouth Tuesday at Eudora.

The Cardinals won both games, 18-3, and 18-10. Next up for the Cardinals is a doubleheader Thursday at Gardner.

EHS girls basketball awards banquet announced

The Eudora girls basketball awards banquet will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the commons area at Eudora High School.
