Free bingo night

The Eudora Community of Christ Life Center will have a free bingo night at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eudora Community Center, 1630 Elm St.
Prizes will include food items and or $25 towards your electric or gas bill.
Bring your bill with account number to be eligible for the $25 prize.
Snacks will be provided and activities for children will be available.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
