Emotional displays at city council meetings typically are born out of frustration. But at Monday’s Eudora City Council meeting, a change of the guard brought about emotions that were the result of gratitude.

Darin Howell said this is the last year he and his wife DeeAnn will help organize the variety show that will benefit the Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.
The show, which will be at 7 p.m. April 25 in the auditorium at Eudora Middle School, will feature the theme of “a blast form the past” because it will feature numbers performed at past shows.
