Childcare providers meeting
April 30, 2009
The Kaw Valley Family Child Care providers will be meeting at 7 p.m. May 7 at Pyramid Place Center.
Mike Underwood will be there to share and answer any questions regarding state fire inspections.
Fire extinguisher inspections also will be available for a minimal fee.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
