Childcare providers meeting
August 27, 2009
The Kaw Valley Family Child Care Providers will meet Sept. 3 at the home of Barbara Kruger.
There will be a meet and greet with snacks from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and the business meeting from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
All providers in the area are welcome and encouraged to attend. The group will be deciding on in-service trainings for the upcoming calendar year.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
