All-League football teams announced

Several Eudora football players have been selected to the All-League team. Players on the first-team were Evan Cleveland, quarterback; Boomer Mays, linebacker; Christian Richardson, defensive back.

Second team honors went to Colton Lynch, offensive line; Hawley Montgomery; tight end, Matt Jump, kicker; Brian Katzfey defensive back.

Honorable mention honors went to Matt Schultz, offensive line; Caleb Clayton-Molby, offensive line; Brian Katzfey, wide receiver; Boomer Mays, running back; Hawley Montgomery, defensive line; Alex Whitten, defensive line; Caleb Clayton-Molby, linebacker; Evan Cleveland, defensive back.

Two Cardinals named to All-League soccer team

Two Eudora soccer players have been named to the All-League soccer team.

Matt Jump was a first-team selection and Daniel Brauda was named to the honorable mention team.

Brauda selected to All-State soccer team

Eudora senior Daniel Brauda was named to Class 4A All-State soccer team. Brauda was an honorable mention selection.

All-Area cross country team announced

Three Eudora cross country runners have been selected to the Lawrence Journal-World’s All-Area team.

Ivan Espinosa was selected to the first-team and Kyle Snow and Kaya Riemann were named to the honorable mention squad.

All-Area football team announced

Eudora senior Evan Cleveland and Boomer Mays have been named to the Lawrence Journal-World’s All-Area football team.

Cleveland and Mays were both first-team selections.

Three Cardinals named to All-Area volleyball team

Three Eudora volleyball players have been named to the Lawrence Journal-World’s All-Area Volleyball team.

Shea Lounsbury, Allie Johnson and Morgan Wiley were named to the honorable mention team.

EHS basketball white-out planned

To show support for the Eudora High School basketball program, all Eudora fans are encouraged to wear a white-out T-shirt during the home games against De Soto Jan. 15. The basketball games begin at 4:30 p.m.

Order forms for the white-out T-shirts are available in the high school career center, or from any EHS cheerleader. Short-sleeve shirts are $7 and long-sleeved shirts are $10. Sizes 2X to 5X are an additional $1. The deadline to order shirts is Dec. 31.

JV boys top Anderson County in opener

The Eudora boys junior varsity team beat Anderson County 55-33 in its season opner Friday.

Leading scorers were Jordan Ballock with 19 and Mack Hartwell 12. Ballock also led the team with nine rebounds, and Hawley Montgomery had five rebounds.
