Eudora High School winter royalty chosen
Eudora High School Winter Sports Royalty Court and king and queen candidates are (l to r): freshman Cassie Roberts and Chris Pyle; sophomores Leslie Brown and Mack Hartwell; juniors Coulter Vestal and Hannah Kouri; and seniors Bailey Scott, Craig Harper, Rachel Pyle, Jackson Wiley, Kendal Abel and Cody Carlson. The coronation will be Friday night between the boys JV and varsity basketball games in the gym at EHS.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
