Holy Family plans a Parish Mission

The Holy Family Catholic Church will have a Parish Mission from Feb. 16 to Feb. 19.
There will be various activities throughout the week including informal discussions after 7 a.m. Mass on Feb. 17 and Feb. 19, as well as a concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 19. For more information, 785-542-2788.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
